While viewing a video of my teaching I observed...

Classroom Organization: I changed the desk orientation since the last video and it works well.  The students sit in groups of four now, instead of rows.  The students definitely are more interested in groups.  Of course there are moments when being in groups hinders progress.  There are some groups that can handle it better than others. The room is still small for the groups because it is a little crowded to walk around the groups.

Student Involvement: The students have been given a set of directions to follow to create a poster of geometry terms.  Most students are on task most of the time.  Moving one focus student near her friend has helped her, and moving the other one away from friends has helped him.  The activity is such that both focus students have the opportunity to use their strengths.

Focus Students: the girl is fine and has made great progress, she talks more in class, and will interact in her group.  However, I am still struggling with the male, he is more interested in socializing than getting the work done.  He definitely responds well to computer related activities and he enjoys competition.  This activity has neither, but future ones will.

Strengths/needs for improvement: I am good at giving choices and leading students through thinking and questioning.  I am still not catching all students, there are some that fly under the radar. I need to develop skills to keep track of all students.
